Abstract

Islamization of knowledge is one of the contemporary issues that attracted the minds of Muslim thinkers. It is started in late 20th century in the reaction of modern sciences and social sciences discoveries. These modern developments in sciences based upon the secularism theory, that deny the authenticity of revelation as the highest source of knowledge. On the other hand, Almighty Allah has created man as his successor and gave him superiority to angels on the basis of knowledge. God has made no difference among worldly and religiously knowledge. The both types of knowledge are mandatory for Khalifa. Muslim ummah ignored the advancement in worldly sciences after its declination in 18th   century while the scientists have totally denied the biblical teachings as they were contradicting to science and technologies, so they delt with Islamic teaching like the biblical one. So, the Muslim thinkers realized the importance of the issue and tried to differentiate between the biblical and qur’anic teachings. As Islamic teachings are pure enough and haven’t been   mixed up with human beings’ views. That’s why all new scientific developments verify and support the Islamic teaching accordingly.
