A Study of Islamic thoughts in the novels of Yousuf al-Sibai
الفكر الإسلامي في الأدب الروائي عند يوسف السباعي
Abstract
Yousuf al-Sibai, an Egyptian modern novelist born in 1917 in Cairo. He wrote sixteen novels during his career. He raised social and regional issues of Arabs in his literary contributions His novels had a great impact on Egyptian and Arab society as he was messenger of peace, love, and Arab unity. The romanticism was his basic school of thought which he promoted in his literary works, but he was impressed by Islamic thoughts as well as he narrated verses of holy Quran and quoted the sayings of Prophet (PBUH) and supported Islamic perspective of society and showed it through his characters.
