Abstract

This study of Islam and Western civilization is one of the most important studies in terms of defining their concepts, their intellectual breakthroughs and their steady foundations, because they represent the world's most famous and widespread cultures, and the largest and most enriching of civilizations. Dr. Mohammed Iqbal is one of the most distinguished Islamic poets who has influenced the recipient through his new poetic style stemming from his unique thought and imaginative imagination of the timeless spirit of the Qur'an and his faithful passion. He expressed in his poetry his intellectual vision, unique vision and deep awareness because he lived in England , And influenced the Western civilization because he lived close to it was able to establish a comparison between the Arab Islamic civilization and Western civilization, he explained to the recipients of his hair manifestations of weakness and poor aspects with the clarification of the signs of moral degeneration among Muslims after being affected by them.

The researcher felt a deep desire to crystallize this Islamic thought and its spiritual values ​​and elevate it in a special study to satisfy that desire, and contribute to the intellectual field, while the hands have been multiplied and the pens were forced, and although his poetry is characterized by the emergence of the intellectual content apparent in the express words spoken, The arbitrator is not without a poetic and poetic whim and a universal faith passion that sprang through speech words and inspirational compositions based on immortal Islamic foundations and universal spiritual values ​​on the one hand, and wonderful artistic foundations on the other, to achieve poetry in an Islamic spirit that draws hearts and hearts.

The research is studying this phenomenon in two ways, one of which is the concept of Western civilization and its features, and the other is the awakening of Muslims and their awareness of the importance of the Western civilization. At the end of this research, the conclusion will be accompanied by monitoring the results reached by the researcher, indicating the sources and references that he referred to during his writing and the recommendations he deems suitable for researchers and recipients.
