The importance of family organization in the formation of society and the scope of men and women, in the Islamic context

Abstract

A successful human society is established by virtue of a strong and stable family and the foundations of such a family depend on the nature of mutual relationship between a man and a woman. This relationship affects children. The fact is that the beginning and evolution of a family is an ongoing process in which every individual is a source of comfort and encouragement for others in the family. Qualitative and descriptive research method was used for the data analysis. The human being of the modern civilization craves intensely for the familial stability and understands that the present-day family disorder is a misfortune and blight and he finds no way of getting out of it. The more a human being is deprived of the positive effects of a family, the more he feels the need of it.  Family stability is necessary for a stable society. The thing that has been reviewed in this article is what foundations Islam has provided in establishing a thriving human society and a stable family and what measures it has taken for forming a chaste, clean and strong family system on the basis of which then a successful and stable human society comes into existence. It is concluded that western civilization scattered the family system and women stood against the men. However, Islam gave the rules for organization of a family system and defined the scope of men and women by following it a stable family and society can be founded.
