A brief introduction to Imam al-Bukhari and his Sahih

Abstract

Muhammad Bin Ismail commonly referred to as  (Imam al Bukhari)  is one of the most prominent and great Muhadith  of the Islamic world. He was born in Bukhara and one of the brilliant students of Imam Malik bin Anas. He is particularly known as Ameer ul Momineen in Hadith. He has written many books in which Sahi Bukhari is very popular – A comprehensive and most authentic book of Hadith. This book is most celebrated and popular among the Muslims of the world. This article carries out a comprehensive study of his life,  book and his methodology and style in compiling the prophetic Hadith. This article presents the methods, approach and worth of this book along with his biography. The method used in this research is descriptive and analytical.
