Abstract

Zainab Al-Ghazali is a famous Egyptian writer who wrote many books including the interpretation of the Quran, which is the first women’s attempt in the field of interpretation of the Noble Qur’an in the history of religious literature. She has contributed many books to Arabic Islamic literature, the most famous of them is her autobiography titled: “Days of my life”. She narrated her journey full of sufferings through her autobiography. She is considered one of the Islamic writers in the Modern Arab era and members of Muslim Sisterhoods who sacrificed her life to spread message of Islam and implement Islamic law in the Egyptian society. She went through a journey full of suffering, pressure, and torture by the Egyptian political system as a result of her political struggle. She, despite her suffering, remained committed to her cause and continued political struggle against the regime until her death. She told her story in her autobiography with the aim of educating future generations. She started her political struggle with the foundation of Women's Association and after some time joined Muslim Brotherhood. She survived the assassination attempt of car accident, spent six consecutive years in prison and was subjected to the most severe torture. She worked continuously for nearly 53 years in the field of Islamic preaching throughout the Islamic world. She sacrificed everything for her cause.
