Incentives of the Umayyad Caliphs in the Renaissance of Arabic Literature (Descriptive Study)

Abstract

History tells us that literary revivals often took place under kings and princes who love literature and its people. Thus, Arabic literature flourished in the Umayyad court, where the Caliphs’ councils played an important role in the renaissance of literature and criticism, and in fostering and flourishing literature by encouraging poets to speak fluently and in good order, while opening the fields for writers and critics of scholars to highlight observations and urge them to provide recommendations, which had implications. Kindness to poetry and poets in terms of sound thinking and a good choice of appropriate words and words to express the lofty meanings while taking care of the sober style.

We will talk. Insha'Allah. In this article, we briefly describe some of the incentives that provided the Caliphs’ councils with vigor and vitality, and were the cause for the renaissance of literature, the refinement of poetry, and the development of criticism.
