Abstract

The idea of this research is based mainly on the process of exploring the roots of the term violence and its synonyms and opposites in an attempt to find out the meaning and its opposite, because with the opposites, things are known - as it is said - and we chose our applied field of the prophetic discourse represented in Sahih al-Bukhari as a model. The beginning of the discussion about the concept of the term violence brings us first back to what was mentioned in the Arabic dictionaries, and I mean by them a representation of “Lisan Ul Arab” exclusively by Ibn Manzur, and “Al-Qamoos al Mohit by Ferozabadi, where the first of them knows it in his “Lisan”, saying: “Violence: violation of the matter and lack of compassion with it he is against compassion, violence with him, and upon him violence and violence, his violence and his violence is violence and he is violent if he is not a companion in his matter .... until he says and everything in kindness is good, then violence is like evil ... and violence is a reproach and blame. Reprimand, censure and blame ... and youthful vigor at the beginning ... and violence against kindness.
