Family Issues of Pakistani Society and its Solution in the light of Prophetic Teachings

This paper deals with the major family problems of Pakistani society. Their solution in the light of teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is also dicussed in detail. Man is communal and convivial in nature. He requires assistance of others in community in order to fulfill his lively needs. This is an intuitive truth that many usual and unusual problems generate when civilizations prosper. Analyses reveal that family problems like domestic violence, dowry, employment of women and increasing rates of divorce have increased the aggravation in family life. Although the causes of such problems may vary from family to family but these problems usually occur due to contumacy, bigotry, false ego and blind following of customs and traditions. According to the biography of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) these problems can be mitigated by elusion from profusion, mutual affection, sacrifice, patience and forgiving others in the society.
