Prophet Muhammad is the last messenger of Allah. Prophet Mohammed as a subject in Western writings has its own attraction across History. Many orientalist criticized Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) life .The Orientalists interpreted various aspects of the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) as epilepsy. The Orientalists resorted to false traditions to prove that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was a patient of epilepsy. Where many objections were raised against the Holy Prophet, one of these objections is epilepsy. In this article, A critical study of the Epilepsy theory of European orientalist.
