Abstract

Islam is a complete code of life and Muslims are bound to follow the rule of Islam in every walk of life whether the issue is individual or collective in nature or whether it is about moral, economic or social aspect of life. The lifestyle of today’s human beings is changing rapidly and it is affecting the Muslims population all around the world and they have to take sharia guidance about each and every issue they face in routine life. The issue of cosmetic surgery is no exception as it is in vogue all around the world and it has so many aspects.

In this paper the said issue is discussed in detail and different aspects of the issue is elaborated on whether cosmetic surgery is allowed or not and whether there are some exceptional cases available where the cosmetic surgery is acceptable from shariah perspective?
